Shattered Dreams

From the farthest skies above
To the deepest of my love
There has been just one feeling:
It’s like coming home to you
With that feeling of mine.
A feeling of your love for me
That never loses its shine,
Until…

…you broke my heart
In your merciless hands.
But I forgive you
For not letting yourself think of me as you
Now I know that I am not the man
Your heart is missing.
Yet there is a love-song left alone
In my mind singing.

I am hoping so much
You just say,
Something that would keep
My tears away;
Something that would keep
My emotions about you at bay.

I hoped you would paint
My love
On the walls of my heart
Because I saw a dream
Of you and me together.
But you never ever did paint.
And you made a sin
By breaking my heart which was most akin
To your love.

My love is left uncared
And I am left undone.
My trust was never believed;
There was one, but now, none.

Leave me to my shattered world.
I blame you not but forgive you
For whatever you have done.
Give me back my love then
If ever you have taken one.
