Another World Beyond

There wasn’t anything
I could not spare
To tell you
That I had always
Believed you care.
Not just for
A moment or two
But for lifelong through.

There has been
So many things unsaid.
I needed you
To be by my side.
And to say that to you
Was still my humble dread!

But yet you chose
To say goodbye.
I could not think hard
About it all
As I thought…just why?

I wish I could hope
To bring about a change
In this stressful life of mine,
So I wanted you
To help me out
From this
Just one last time.

But you chose to go away.
And it seems to me
That you haven’t thought
To come to see my way.

I was hoping so much
You say
That you will
Love me in every way.

You’ve left me alone
In the wilderness of time.
Since then I could do nothing…
Even as I hardly had ever felt
That maybe you were not really mine.

I have belonged to you
In so many different ways.
You know I was there
Waiting for you
For the love of our days.

I had plenty to say to you
As tears soaked my eyes
But silently time went by
And so did our individual lives.

When you were no more
Coming into my life
I thought I will be shattered
As I knew not
How to fight and strive…

Remains of those
Last few days with you
Now lying scattered about…
Ah! I was so happy then,
Telling the world aloud!

It cuts like a knife
When you said it’s over.
Hardly as I knew
When I thought
Things were getting closer.

You went away…
Perhaps, you had to.
Remember those words
You spoke on phone?
When I was gone outside
For a day or two…and done.

Let out things stay
As they stayed ever together
I understand for sure
You may have gone through
Very difficult weather.

Let this world go by
The way it always went.
We are sure to meet
Someday, somewhere,
As we seem to repent.

Then, we will put up together
A new world –
Where the flowers grow fair
Where the moon shows
A sweet circle of fun
Only for us to stare.
