A difference between right and wrong
I have wrestled with the huge tides
Of my silent lips for so long.
What possible resentment
Can repulse my constricted heart?
My love for her remains unrequited
And my feelings unredeemed.
I have turned into a perennial nomad…
Fond memories of mine have gone mad.
All the candid pictures of mine…
Slipped into a bottle of sordid wine…
You say that you paint dear.
Can you really paint fear?
Paint if you can paint my love.
Paint if you can paint the shine
Of a treasure trove.
Paint the earnestness with which I speak.
Paint the dingy horizons
Of a demonic creak!
Try and discover me now.
Relish the madness of my vow.
Look at me my love here;
Come in the real name of love.
Play again the eternal harp of love
And harvest the fruits
Of guiltless love.
Do not bestrew me like this;
Do not bestrew me like this;
Time is running out
For our marital bliss!
Rekindle the showers of faith and trust.
Recolour the lost portrait of love
If you must.
I got bewitched when thy smile
Ripped through me.
How can I bear that irreparable loss?
Will you please tell me?
When in the hand of the other man
You laid your fingers ten,
I have unplugged the chord
Of my heart since then!By Arindam Moulick
